For this sketch, I wanted to think about the role of being a parent and the specific situation when a parent chooses to hang the child's art on the fridge. I instead used a dog as the character, because it gives more of a whimsical and childlike feel. When working on this I found that it is complicated to save an screenshot to a server or sketch folder to then be displpayed on the canvas. Because of this the sketch is missing some functionality. In iterating on this project I had to abandon a lot of the facial expression assets due to an issue with transparent images layering. I would like to fix this issue and add more interactivity and personality in the future.
